A Visit to my Favorite Place: Bethel Colony Women’s Campus

On the porch talking and praying!

Yesterday I traveled to what I consider to be Gods hill of triumph and sweet individuals. Bethel Colony Women’s Campus is a second home to me, and if I could I’d stay there and would never leave. I go a couple times a year I try to meet each group of girls that come in if time allows.

Usually I cook food, bring dessert, or items needed that the girls can use. I share my sister’s story who passed a few years ago due to her battle with addiction, and how she died on life support due to a blood clot. It’s my WHY, it’s why I go, it’s why I’m still moving, and it’s why I do so much. I try to be her voice and keep her memory alive, and also encourage other ladies to keep moving.

Bethel is a faith based rehabilitation center that focuses on getting these women back on the right track. The pastor, director, and counselors really keep these girls moving. They are some very special people that I love and pray for frequently. I’m glad to be an advocate for Bethel, and have sweet friends that I can come to visit.

My message for the girls yesterday:

“The top of the mountain would not be as sweet without knowing the darkness and the depth of the valley! God is alive and well. The devil might not take a day off, but I know that my savior is GOOD all the time. I had to praise him through my journey and I still praise him now. I trust in god my savior who will never fail

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 – In Our Weakness Christ’s Power Rests On Us. “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

You see, even when we feel weak, or not enough, that we don’t belong.. God has already given us grace. It’s enough. Everyone say ITS ENOUGH. You’re enough. Your weakness will be your strength one day. He will take the puzzle piece missing in your life and make the picture complete. He will give you his power to keep moving you just have to let him in your heart and allow the overwhelming presence to be in your life, your home, and who you choose to have relationships with.”

If you can donate to Bethel whether that’s time, items, or financial resources please do. Everything is put to a good use there on that hill.

Love,

Corey
